Better Bundles

Better Bundles is a server-side mod that allows bundles to be easily downloaded by the client. The client-side Bundle Loader is required for this to work.

For support, join the ConfigFreaks Discord server.

Installation:

  1. Download the zip file using the download button above
  2. Drop the file in your server mods folder ("user/mods")
  3. Run the server

Configuration (For mod creators):

The process of adding bundles to a server-side mod is simple.

If you haven't already set up your bundles, you will need to do so by following the instructions on the Bundle Loader post.

Add the following lines to your mod.config.json:

"res":{
    "bundles":{
        "folders":[
        ],
        "files": [
        ]
    }
}

In the "folders" section, put a list of folders containing bundles you would like to be loaded. For example, if I have a folder named "files" inside of my mod folder, then inside of there I have another folder named "bundles" containing all of the bundles I want to be loaded, my "folders" section would look something like this:

"folders": [
    "files/bundles"
]

The same goes for the "files" section, except instead of a folders you are specifying individual files. For example, if I have a folder named "files" inside my mod folder, then inside of there I have another folder named "bundles" containing a bundle named "akm_texture.bundle", my "files" section would look something like this:

"files": [
    "files/bundles/akm_texture.bundle"
]

and it's as easy as that!
